Pastor Danny Patterson
Danny became the pastor of Second Parish in October of 2009 after serving a church in Battle Mountain, Nevada. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in Psychology (1999). He then received his M.Div from Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana (2002). Danny married his wife, Skye, in 2000 and they love being parents to Killian, Christian, Caulin, Kaden, and Aria. In addition to his work at Second Parish, Danny serves on the board of directors at Greater Portland Christian School. He has a particular interest in exploring the interrelatedness of psychology and theology. Danny’s primary pastoral responsibilities at the church include preaching, teaching and counseling.
